Resides in Green Brook, NJ, married to Patricia Lytle, an attorney and artist. Four children, Eugene III, an attorney, Kevin, sports management, Jessica, an attorney and Michael, an attending physician at New York University Medical Center.

Eight grandchildren who enjoy the summerhouse at the Jersey Shore. Gene loves boating and when he can get away he enjoys fishing, and of course having his grandchildren on his boat or jet ski is his idea a fun.

Gene is an adjunct professor at Saint Peter’s University Graduate School.
